My name is Dani Taylor and I’ve been Vegan for 15 years and vegetarian for 4 before that. I went Vegan when I stumbled across an article that explained how horrible the dairy and egg industries are to animals and I went vegan overnight.
The biggest change from going Vegan for me personally was that I started losing unnecessary weight right away. I was 210 pounds when I went Vegan and I am now a champion figure competitor! (Dani Lost 80 lbs. and competes at around 125 lbs. but maintains at 140 lbs.). Quite a difference! My favorite vegan meal right now is a breakfast of tofu scramble and oatmeal with berries.
If I could give people a word of advice it would be to start where you are even if you can’t be perfect right away. Just start replacing one animal product at a time with a Vegan product. It’s so easy to find vegan versions of foods you love without the cruelty. You won’t even miss it and you’ll wish you started sooner!
